It is not difficult to say that Wyndham Clark had a much more enjoyable time than the previous major tournament in Open in Royal Portrush this week.

Clark could not put an incident in the rearview mirror in Oakmont. However, when joined without anger tits, the three star tour to finish what was open was a step in the right direction.

Clark finished with a tie fourth in the fourth place below 273 after a shaky first round of 76 with 66, 66 and 65 bullets.

Clark, “At the end of the day, I played under the age of 16 in the last three days.” He said. “Except for the first round, maybe we’d have a chance to win this thing.

“But really satisfied. I put something great. I made very big shots. I felt like I was in a great place. I am very pleased.”

Clark won 2023 US Open, but this year’s performance in Oakmont, US Open, was a two -level disaster.

Clark missed the slaughter with a 74 consecutive tours. Then he took over anger and damaged several cabinets in the famous golf field.

Oakmont banned Clark from property and said that Clark should pay for all damage, making a philanthropic contribution and “anger management sessions or consultancy” before being restored.

“Frankly, I feel terrible with what’s, Clar Clark Sunday said. “I do everything I can to try to correct the situation.

“We are trying to keep it special between Oakmont, myself and Usga. Just as we have a progressive way, and as you said, I hope we can pass and continue it and there is no bad intention against me and Oakmont.”

This event marked the second flat major tournament where Clark was an angry problem. In May, during the PGA championship in Quail Hollow, he threw his driver and damaged a Tee box.

Clark said that the solving anger problems is an ongoing study.

Clark, “I have experienced them in the past. I was quite clear about mental change and change to be better, and I did it at ’23 and ’24, and then a difficult year and all the expectations and only disappointment I came together and I did two stupid things.” He said. “But what he does is to wake me up and bring it back to the person I know and the person I want to be.

“I hope it doesn’t reflect these things because I don’t think they think I am, and these things won’t happen again.”

Clark’s performance in Royal Portrush was the best of the year. The other three episodes went bad – 46th in Masters, 50th in PGA, and the abducted in the US Open.

But he hopes that a strong run can leave him a place for the US Ryder Cup team.

“I didn’t have a good year, Clar Clark said. “I would love to do a few more to try to take a second place because maybe I would have a better chance. …

“This is the last four or five weeks I feel really good golf. I played two or three good rounds, I just didn’t bring together four.”
