The fatal residues of the FM College student sorrow, to rest in the midst of anger

BHUBANESWAR: The mortal ruins of a 20 -year -old girl, a second year student of Fakir Mohan Autonomic College in a village covered with sadness, were burned on Tuesday in the Native Palasia village under the Bhograi block of the Odisha Balasore Region.

The last journey of the girl, a mourning sea, attracted the sea – the puzzled family, friends and peasants, the peasants who are stunned silence or cry openly as a bright, determined young woman who failed by the system to protect it.

On Saturday, a sad protest against the long -term sexual harassment of Sameer Kumar Sahoo, the President of the Education Department, fueled himself near the office of the principal on the college campus. Despite repeated complaints, it was reported that the university administration did not receive any significant support.

Other students ran to save him. He was first admitted to a hospital in Balasore, and then moved to Aiims Bhubaneswar and fought with 95 percent burns for life. In critical state, it was late on Monday night after about 60 hours.

The tragic event triggered widespread anger and search for soul in Odisha. When his body reached Palasia, justice cheers were mixed with tears. The villagers remembered him not only as a student, but as a symbol of courage and resistance against corporate neglect.

In the midst of public anger, Odisha Prime Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced on Tuesday an old Gratia of 20 Lakh for the old family and promised a comprehensive investigation.

A statement made by the prime minister’s office, “Everyone who is guilty will be delivered to justice.”

Governor Hari Babu Kambhabathi also expressed his grief on social media:

“It was shattered to learn the timeless loss of a young student from Fakir Mohan College. His death is not just a tragedy – this is a warning. Our campuses should be safe for everyone.”

“The law will take the most challenging way. Those responsible will face harsh results.”

Following the first investigations, both College Director Dilip Ghosh and the defendant’s department President Samer Kumar Sahoo were arrested.
