’28 years later’ an incredibly tense, completely fascinating zombie tale

28 years later It is never exactly “scary ,, but constantly disturbing. Director Danny Boyle describes this latest zombie fairy tale, which has returned to Franchise, where he helped him to be created with Alex Garland, with a kinetic and impressive film -making style that disturbs even the most ordinary actions. A walk in the forest. A water splashing. The rise of the sun. You will never jump out of your seat, but you will be on the edge of it all time, and we think it is much more rewarding.

Set, you guessed, the “anger virus” 2002 in the original 28 years after taking over the United Kingdom, 28 years later It focuses on a beautiful but troubled family living in a safe, isolated community. Although the mainland has been infected and quarantined from the rest of the world, it can only be accessed by a small passage that can only be seen for a few hours a day. Young Spike (Alfie Williams), her mother Isla (Jodie Comer), Father Jamie (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and the rest of the happy community have remained safe for decades.

For a good third 28 years laterYou don’t know exactly what the story will be. For the first time, we follow Jamie’s Anakaraya Spike for the first time as a way to introduce us as people and in general. Slow, fat zombies and fast, fit zombies, and even though the film takes a good time to fully reveal itself, thanks to our interest in the world and the specificity of the characters. We want to learn and see more about all of them.

This is also supported by the filmmaking that brings most of the trademark techniques-elaborate segments, pulse-throwing music, sound and purposes for a palpable discomfort that enables your mind to work. We watch the bond of a father and son, but at the same time we think of this world from many different ways, all of them violate our nails with horror. A strong combination.

Finally, the film finds a focus point and includes Comer’s character Isla. He desperate to find the help of the patient and the spike, which leads them to a whole new adventure. Both the Comer and especially Williams will really stretch the acting muscles. Williams can only be a child, but it is a dynamic being and it easily carries the film. However, after focusing, 28 years later It’s changing a little. Boyle’s hyper-energy-style, almost unlike the son and the father, together with the more nutritious relationship between the mother and son. Here we both see Spike and Isla in a different light, but a change that is not immediately compatible is enough.

Something that keeps everything harmonious is action and violence. You can’t have a film full of tension and fear without a little return, and it gives us plenty of in the film. There are big battles, exciting buckets and moments of rapid intensity. Plus, always a kill – whether human or zombie – is handled carefully. With every bloody murders, the film slows down for a stroke and even throws it into a freezing frame at the time of death, so we understand the value of life on both sides. It is a fun and effective tool used throughout and you feel that you are in the hands of a filmmaker with something to really say.

Later, thanks to the conditions with a little spoilers, Ralph Fiennes, the mysterious Dr. Kenson joins. Kenson’s story is a fascinating story, both the film and the world, Fiennes’in a new perspective brings to life. His presentation also points to another change in the film, which becomes almost a spiritual existentialism. Welcome, it works, but after getting used to the mother-son story, it contributes again to the light inequality of the film.

Zombie after 28 years
Cillian is not Murphy and not the most terrible zombie in the film. – Sony

This is really the only disadvantage 28 years later. The characters are great, the filmmaking breathtaking, the action is intense and the story is emotional. He is so ambitious that along the way these shifts make the film feel a little distinct, almost like you turn the channel into something new. Whenever it happens, but after a few minutes of confusion, we settle back because everything around him is very good.

There are scenes and ideas in the film that I have not been discovered in a zombie film before. What would he do to an ecosystem that had no people for 28 years? Then which human mistakes could have continued? If so, human features still carry with them? Is there a order of zombie gaging? 28 years later He constantly shoots at all cylinders, but then you hit you with a moment or idea that pushes things to a whole new level, and you wish it almost a movie about it.

28 years later It’s not a typical zombie film. The zombies in this world are unfortunate, undeniable reality and developed like people who survived for 28 years. As a result, everything has a more grounded, associated feeling, which makes it much more exciting. Boyle and Garland then allow us to explore this world and characters at the same time to allow us to predict and entertain. Although the end is not as strong as the rest of the film, fortunately, the first film of this proposed trilogy appears in January. We can’t wait to go back. There is still a lot to chew.

28 years later It opens on June 20.
