Zimbabve and Sri Lanka will face the two ODI and the White Ball series with two ODI and three T20s in Harare Sports Club.The series will start with ODI on 29 and August 31, and then there will be T20i matches in early September.T20I matches, ICC men T20 World Cup Africa Regional Final is specially important for Zimbabve. Zimbabwe will host this qualifying event between 19 September and 4 October, which will determine the last two African teams for the 2026 T20 World Cup jointly by India and Sri Lanka.“We are pleased to approve of Sri Lanka’s Zimbabve visit because we expect an exciting and competitive series. The matches between the two countries have always produced a fun jack, and this tour comes to an important time for our team while preparing for the upcoming T20 World Cup qualifying campaign.The last match between these teams took place in January 2024, where Sri Lanka won 2-0 in a three-game ODI series at home. Teams have not yet been announced for the upcoming series.Zimbabwe’s program includes hosting the ICC world test champions for two test matches, South Africa. This will follow a three series of South Africa and New Zealand.Sri Lanka is currently involved in the first World Test Championship Matches against Bangladesh. After the test series, they will play three ODI and T20.
