The recently crowned Miss World, Sucata Chuangsri shared an emotional message that mourned the tragic loss of three young girls he met during his visit to the modi pearls in Gulzar Houz, near Charminar in Haydarabad. The girls died on May 18 with a destructive fire with 14 family members.
Reminding his visit to the historical city, which he described as close to his heart since his crowning, Sucata was reflected in the temperature and joy he lived during his time in his pearl shop. He remembered the girls wearing white and zebra patterned clothes willing to meet him and take pictures. A girl even asked her mother to find a dress to look as beautiful as items for the opportunity.
The beauty queen moved deeply by the family’s hospitality and love during their visit. “They cheered with so many love and hope for me and prayed for me, and my heart is broken that they cannot find the chance to witness and celebrate our victory.”
He expressed a deep grief and resulted in a prayer: “May your souls lie in peace in heaven … Let’s meet again in our next life.”
