I respect all religions: CJI, on his comments at Temple Case in critical social media publications

India’s chief justice Bravai confirmed its respect for “all religions” after the online criticism on Thursday.

“Someone told me that my comments were depicted on social media the other day … I respect all religions,” he said.

On May 16, a bench consisting of CJI and Justice K Vinod Chandran rejected the search for instructions to rebuild and reinstall a seven -meter idol at the Javari Temple, a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Khajuraho Temple Complex in Madhya Pradesh.
