Wimbledon Chief Sally Bolton confirmed that security measures will increase this year in SW19.

“But for years, there are processes and we have experienced processes to ensure the safety of our players.

“This is in contact with law enforcement officers, expert security teams and both tours.

“This is similar to wider security for the reasons. At that time, we take measures reflecting the threat and risk profile.”
