While the film was still missing, it was quietly released in a dozen theater in India. In addition to the fall, the director and leading actors refused to introduce the crime tension before being released. On the opening day, Arjun sold only 293 tickets Bhumi-Starrer and won only 38,000 RS. The total lifetime collection of RS 1 could not even cross the Lakh, which made it the most disastrous box office error in India.
Why were Lady Killer released in only 12 theaters in India?
As a contract agreement with Netflix for the OTT version of the producers in December, Lady Killer was given a limited theater version to fulfill the necessary 4-6 weeks theater window before the flow. However, after the weak theater run, Netflix OTT canceled the version and no other platform received flow rights. Ultimately, the producers released a full film on September 2024 on T-Series’s Youtube channel.
