San Diego FC signed an advocate Christopher Mcvey by 2028 to a contract extension by 2027.
28 -year -old Sweden joined San Diego last December in relation to MLS’s DC United and Inter Miami CF.
Mcvey has two goals in 20 MLS match this season. Miami (2022-23), DC United (2024) and San Diego with 97 career matches (92 starters) have four goals.
“Chris has been the cornerstone of our defense since the first day,” Sporting Director Tyler Heaps said. He said. “The consistency and presence in the rear line was effective for our early success. We are looking forward to signing it to a contract extension and continuing to San Diego FC.”
San Diego is currently leading the Western Conference with 39 points (12-5-3) in front of Vancouver Whitecaps.
