Russell Brand claimed that he was not guilty of rape, sexual assault and inappropriate attack charges at a court hearing in London.
The publisher, comedian and actor took part in Southwark Crown Court, where he first rejected five charges.
A claim of rape, one inappropriate attack, one of the verbal rape and twice sexual assault. It is claimed that the crimes took place between 1999-2005 and were related to four women.
The 49 -year -old child will now face a hearing planned to start on June 3, 2026.
Mr. Brand did not talk to journalists and looked directly as he entered the court wearing a dark suit and a buttoned shirt.
In July 2004, he was accused of verbal rape and sexual assault against one of women and was accused of raping another woman in 1999.
He is also accused of unstable attacking a woman by taking her arm in 2001 and dragging her to the male toilet and by kissing her in 2004 or 2005, making sexual harassment on a different woman.
While talking to verify his name, the glass stopped on the dock and replied “innocent” after each count was placed on him.
He left the quay in his sunglasses and thanked usher when he left.
Buckinghamshire, Hambeder, media personality and impressive, will remain on conditional bail until the hearing.
On May 20, 2026, an investigation was planned before the trial.
After being accused in April, he published a video that says he was not a rapist and that he had never had sexual activity without consent.
“Now I will have the opportunity to defend these charges in court, and I’m incredibly grateful for that,” he said.
Born in Essex, Mr. Brand rose to fame as a stand-up comedian and became a home name with his own radio programs at stations, including BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music, as the host of Big Brother’s TV shows such as Big Mouth.
He continued to establish a Hollywood career in which he played in films such as forgetting Marshall and taking him to Greek.
