Lewis Hamilton announced the death of “dear” pet dog Roscoe.

Seven times the world champion on Friday, social media, the well -known pet has fallen into the pneumonia and was placed in a coma.

Hamilton, who had missed a rubber test activity to stay on the side of his dog with the Ferrari team, announced on Monday that Roscoe died the previous evening “in my arms”.

Hamilton wrote: “Four days after life support, I had to fight every power he has, to make the hardest decision of my life and to say goodbye to Roscoe.

“He never stopped fighting, just to the end. I am very grateful and honored to share my life with such a beautiful spirit, angel and real friend.

“Bringing Roscoe to my life was the best decision I have ever given, and I will feed the memories we have created together forever.”

Hamilton reflected his other domestic dog Coco’s 2020 death, as he had to decide to end medical treatment for 40 -year -old Roscoe.

He continued: “Although I lost Coco, even though I knew my mother and many of my close friends had, I have never met a dog before sleeping.

“This is one of the most painful experiences and I feel a deep connection with everyone passing through the loss of a beloved animal. Although it was very difficult, it was one of the most beautiful parts of life, to love and be loved in return.

“I thank you all for the love and support you have shown to Roscoe over the years. It was very special for witnesses and feeling.”

In 2013, Hamilton, his first season in Mercedes, accepted the British Bulldog in 2013, and Roscoe is a regular asset with the owner in the F1 paddo in the coming years.

After joining the Italian team from Mercedes, Hamilton endured a challenging first campaign with Ferrari and received the Grand Podium for his new staff who won 105 times.

The 2025 season, which has seven of 24 rounds, will continue in Singapore this weekend with the first training on Friday.
