Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers were afraid of their characters who changed their bodies in a episode on Wednesday.
In the second season, Ortega’s Stoic and Deadpan Wednesday accidentally replace the corpses with the fun and live Enid Sinclair’s friend’s friend.
In an interview with Netflix’s Tudum, the Scream player admitted that he had no enough time to play the opposite of the polar of Wednesday, so the possibility of filming the episode was “really horrifying”.
“It was scary – I haven’t had to do such a thing for a while,” he continued. “And frankly, Emma, what you do with this character is very specific and very good – very large, bubble and bright. It requires too much physicality.
“I was shooting every day, I wanted to investigate and prepare more, but I was still applying cello and sword fighting … I felt really unprepared and I had to get out of what I saw what you were doing.”
Myers also needed a “very scared” and “more time to prepare”, so he used Ortega’s description as a reference during shooting on Wednesday.
“I pulled clips when I was a core,” he shared. “I didn’t have to use so much energy – it’s a nice break. It’s completely different. Because I can’t continue to move to myself when I play Enid. I just need to sit down and do something. If I had played on Wednesday, we should move again.
