Four temples lubricated in Nellore were plundered

Nellore: Unidentified people plundered and celebrated four temples in Nellore’s podalakur latch on Thursday morning, and then police officials performed additional security steps to protect other temples in the region.
At the Temple of Mathamma, the criminals stole seven golden Mangalsutras, a nose ring and Hundi. In the Temple of Bhadrakali, three large and three small gold mangalsutras were played with three gold beads (gundlu) and one pearl element.
Ramalayam and Anjaneya Swamy opened Hundis in the temples and rang cash. Only money was left on the ground. One of the thrown Hundies was torn apart in a nearby pond. The targeted looting of the temples left the villagers troubled.
The stealing of the sacred ornaments – the mangalsutras, which is particularly attached to the gods as a symbol of divinity and protection to the gods – deeply hurt local religious feelings.
The peasants tied the make-shift mangalsutras made from the turmeric sticks to the gods to recover the divinity.
