Essendon Bomber Ruckman Sam Draper is making a phone call from Adelaide Crows
Adelaide coach Matthew Nicks called the Essendon star Sam Draper to take a personal step to Ruckman to sign a long -term contract with Crows.
Draper, who appeared as one of the hottest properties for the upcoming trade period, has offers standing from Essendon and Brisbane, but Crows used its coaches to escape at the last minute.
Nicks contacted this Masthead about the call, but politely refused to comment and said that he had a club policy that they did not talk about about the players in the opponent clubs.

According to two sources close to Draper, two sources speaking about the status of anonymity, he blown up the player and now caused him to rethink Crows as a potential place.
According to sources, Draper did not refuse to recommend it to Essendon. Competition sources say Essendon’s proposal is a four -year contract, and that Lions is willing to offer five or six years to make the agreement.
Essendon said that they wanted an earlier answer to Draper and his management, not later. Draper is an unlimited free agent.
It is not clear what the scope of Adelaide’s proposal is, but Nicks made it clear that Draper was a priority signature for the club in the closed season.
Nicks’ phone call comes only days after Crows signed for three more seasons Ruckman Reilly O’Brien again.
Draper, who was 27 years old next month, has only achieved 78 matches, a career full of injuries.
