During the ‘high -risk’ raid, the police discover the storage of large firearms wrapped in plastic into a wooden chest

The cops were accused of pursuit and kidnapping after discovering a series of firearms, which were wrapped in plastic and hidden in a wooden chest.
On June 18, the officers made a ‘high -risk’ search order in Wallerston, 14 km southwest of Mackay.
In the video of the arrest of the 39 -year -old man, the officers seem to be shirtless and barefoot when they pushed their hands behind them and put a clamp around their wrists.
The man was later taken to a police vehicle wearing a stuck hood.
Police claim that officers have discovered semi -automatic rifles and large capacity magazines with ammunition while searching for property.
The weapons are hidden in a chest next to the refrigerator with a large pair of door and microwave.
Since then, the man has been accused of having two illegal weapons (rifles) and each illegal follow -up, lack of freedom, the presence of explosives (ammunition) without authority, and the presence of drug goods.
It is scheduled to be re -appeared at the Mackay Magistrate Court on September 8th.

Inspector Scott Ingram praised the efforts of local civil servants and strengthened the region’s commitment to family and family violence.
“Mackay Whitsundays region is dedicated to supporting victims of domestic violence and taking a certain action against the criminals, ” he said.

The arrest comes only one day after a 27 -year -old man is accused of illegal firearms in regional Queensland Nanango.
Officers carried out the raid in a house in the Old ESK North Road on Wednesday and allegedly found a firearm and some marijuana.

The raid in Walkerston is a part of Viski Firestorm Operation, a Queensland Police Attempt targeting illegal firearms and weapons throughout the state.
More than 1,055 firearms licenses have been canceled, including print, murder, armed robbery, attack and illegal entry attempt, and Alarming 2024, who sees more than 3,290 febrile weapons.
Weapons were seized under the operation of whiskey with a gun pressure throughout the state.
