Delhi records the highest power demand on June 11

In the midst of rising temperatures, Delhi noted the highest demand for the highest power on 11 June 2025 this summer. The real -time figures of the State Load Distribution Center (SLDC) showed that the highest demand was 8,231 MW in 10.55.
This year, Delhi’s highest power demand is expected to pass 9,000 MW. In 2024, the national capital recorded the high summit demand of all time 8,656 MW.
Delhi’s highest power demand was 8,000 MW for the first time in 2023.
For Delhi, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, a red warning was released at various air stations, as it was in the grasping of an intensive heat wave ranging from 40.9 to 45 Celsius.
When taken into account with moisture, the heat index, which is a measure of how warm it felt, touched a worrying 51.9 degrees Celsius.
