Atlanta Braves waived the former All-Star Jug Alek Manoah from Toronto Blue Jays on Friday.
The 27 -year -old right -handed, returning from Tommy John Surgery, was limited to 10 rehabilitation this season.
Blue Jays appointed the first round of draft elections in 2019 on Tuesday.
This season, he was 1-1 with 3,96 ERA at the four small league levels and 38 fans 35 doughs in 38 2/3 Inning.
Braves chose Manoah to the Spring Education Complex.
In 2024, he played only five games for Toronto and finished 1-2 with 26 strikes in 24 1/3 strokes before performing elbow surgery at the end of the season.
When he finished third in the voting of the American League Cy Young Prize in 2022, Manoah has been in 420 innings since the 2021 Major League output.
