Nellore: BJP leader Midathala Ramesh, Prime Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’nun MTU 1010 paddy diversity of farmers who cultivated and looking for a solution to bring the problems of the Sarvepalli Mla Someddy Chandramohan Reddry applied to the problems.
During a meeting with Somenteddy on Saturday, Ramesh pointed out that the MTU 1010 kind of paddy diversity was grown over 80,000 acres in the old Nellore region.
However, they stated that government officials would not be provided within the scope of the minimum support price (MSP) program of this diversity. Ramesh said, “This decision causes serious injustice to farmers. They have to sell their products with approximately 5,000 losses per acre compared to MSP. Even worse, the authorities treat them as if they made a mistake by developing this crop.”
He called on MLA to intervene, so that the paddy farmers, who were completely dependent on agriculture for their livelihoods, were not pushed to financial difficulties.
