Jaishankar begins a European tour to increase short leaders in Op Sindoor

Minister of Foreign Affairs. S. Jaishankar began to visit France, the European Union and Belgium for a week to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss strategic issues, including India’s terrorism and the latest Sindoor operation.
“EAM visit is expected to deepen the friendly relations of India with the European Union, France and Belgium, and to give a new acceleration in different fields,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA). He said.
Pointing to 25 years of India-France Strategic Partnership, Dr Jaishankar will travel to Paris and Marseille, where they will meet with French European and Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot. It is also scheduled to meet with senior French leadership and interact with thinkers and media. In particular, the opening of the Raisina dialogue in Marseille will participate in the Mediterranean edition.
“Our relations with France stem from deep trust and commitment. Both countries closely cooperate in strategic and contemporary fields and share their common perspectives on various regional and global issues,” he said.
This visit follows the launch of the Sindoor operation and comes at a time when India strengthens its global attitude towards the fight against terrorism. Dr. Jaishankar’s European leaders are expected to inform India about precise measures against cross -border terrorism.
The Strategic Partnership of the Indian-European Union, which has expanded in the sectors in recent years, was supported by EU Commissioners College with its first visit to India earlier this year. In Brussels, Dr. Jaishankar will establish a strategic dialogue with EU High Representative and Vice President Kaja Kallas and will meet with senior leadership from the European Commission and the European Parliament, along with the thinking institutions and the media.
In Belgium, EAM will organize bilateral consultations with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot and meet with the leader of the Belgian Belgian. It will also interact with members of the Indian community.
